One year ago, on the first Saturday of August 2025, Tie One Run Club was born. What started as a few passionate runners exploring the beautiful spots of NYC has grown, over the past year, into a community bound by a shared love of running. To celebrate our 1-year anniversary, we’re teaming up with La Cabra Bakery 🥐 We’ll be pre-ordering their signature pastries based on RSVPs, so they can give us a special discount and set aside their sell-out pastries for us to pick up right after our run. The route: We’ll meet at the Apple Fifth Avenue at 8:30 AM, recreating our very first meetup spot from a year ago. From there, we run down Park Ave along Manhattan’s Summer Streets. Both the short and full route groups run together to Cooper Square. There, the short route (3.2 mi / 5.2 km) group turns left toward 2nd Ave, while the full route (6 mi / 9.7 km) group continues to the end of Summer Streets at City Hall before looping back. Afterward, we’ll refuel with some delicious pastries together. Cost will land between $5–$10 per person, depending on RSVP numbers.
